Poppy Lodge
Poppy Lodge is a detached lodge in Newsham, North Yorkshire. It sits within the grounds of our caravan park, but it's private. It's just for two people.
It's open plan inside, all one room. There's a wood burner to keep it warm. The bathroom has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Outside, there's a raised deck with a private hot tub. The garden is enclosed. You get a good view of the fields and you'll see plenty of birds.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about three quarters of a mile away that does food. The nearest shop is in Catterick, about five miles.
Location-wise, it's handy. You're about seven miles from Richmond, which is a nice market town with a castle. For walking, you're right between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. The coast-to-coast path goes through here. The Lake District is about 40 minutes by car if you want to go that far.
For things to do: Richmond Castle is worth a visit. For a drive out, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is close, and so is the North York Moors National Park. The National Trust's Rievaulx Terrace is within about an hour.

It can be booked together with two other properties on site if you're coming as a group.
