Poppy Lodge
Poppy Lodge is in Newsham, North Yorkshire. It's a detached wooden lodge in the corner of our caravan park. You're on your own out there, it's private. There's a decked area and a hot tub just for you.
It sleeps two people. It's all one open-plan room with a bed, a kitchen area, and a sofa. There's a wood burner for when it's cold. The bathroom has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The village is tiny and quiet. There's a pub about three quarters of a mile away that does food. The nearest shop is five miles, so come prepared. You're right in the middle of the country here, about halfway between the east and west coasts. It's easy to get to the A66 if you want to go exploring.
Richmond is about seven miles away. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and places to eat. For walking, you've got the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors to the east. Both are within half an hour. The coast at Whitby is under an hour's drive. The Lake District is about 40 minutes in the other direction.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, an enclosed patio area, a TV, and the hot tub. Bedding and towels are included. We can't take pets.
