3 The Reading Room Cottages is in Barningham village, County Durham. It's one of a pair of cottages. They're on the edge of the Barningham Estate.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. Everything's included, bedding, towels, that sort of thing.
The local pub is about twenty-five yards away. They do food. There's a village shop about five hundred yards away for basics.
The cottage has a garden and parking. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
For things to do, Barnard Castle is about a fifteen minute drive. The Bowes Museum is there. Richmond is about twelve miles, so twenty-five minutes maybe. It's a nice market town with a castle.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Good walking and cycling from the door. Barningham Moor has some ancient sites if you're into that. For a bigger day out, Fountains Abbey is under an hour's drive.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. It's been done up nicely, a mix of old and new furniture.
