Mayfields Retreat

Mayfields Retreat is a detached log cabin in our garden in Newsham, North Yorkshire. It's quiet here. The village is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped. There's a woodburner in the living area. The hot tub is under a cover on the terrace.

You can bring one dog. Everything like bedding, towels, robes and slippers is included. There's a welcome pack when you arrive.

The local pub is about a mile's walk away, they do food. The nearest shop is three miles. There's parking right by the cabin.

For walks, you can start from the door. There are footpaths and bridleways through the village and out into the Dales. Richmond is seven miles away for shops, a castle, and a market. Barnard Castle is about the same distance.

If you're driving out, the National Trust's Moulton Hall is nearby. High Force waterfall in Teesdale is popular. Catterick Racecourse is ten miles away.

It's got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.
