This is Tavern Cottage in Newsham. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps two. It's detached, but it's on the edge of our caravan park. You get your own garden and a private hot tub.
It's got a 4 Star rating. We've redone it. The bedroom is a good size. The shower is a walk-in one with a big showerhead. There's a log burner in the living room. It's got a TV. We put dressing gowns in for you, and there are slippers too if you ask.
The village is small and quiet. There's a pub about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is four miles away in Richmond, so you need to plan for that.
You're sort of in the middle here. It's not right on the moors or in the dales, but you can get to them easily. There are footpaths straight from the door. You're about seven miles from Richmond, which is a nice town with a castle, restaurants, and a market. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is about a twenty minute drive west. The North York Moors National Park and the coast, like Whitby, is about forty minutes east.
If you drive, you can get to Barnard Castle, or the Lake District in about forty minutes. Hamsterley Forest is good for mountain biking.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, a BBQ, bike storage, and the garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
