Brandy Lodge is in Newsham, on the edge of our caravan park. It's a detached lodge, so it's on its own. You get a raised decking area and the hot tub to yourselves. It's quiet. You can sit out and watch the birds.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The shower is a big waterfall one.
Inside, there's an open-plan living and kitchen area. It has a wood burner. It gets cosy. We provide dressing gowns. Slippers are available if you ask.
The village is small. There's a pub and restaurant about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest shop is four miles, in Kirby Hill. You're about a mile and a half from the main road, so it's easy to get about. There are public footpaths right from the door.
Richmond is seven miles away. It's a Georgian market town with a castle, shops, and places to eat. Barnard Castle is about a 20-minute drive. The Lake District is around 40 minutes by car if you want to go west.
For walkers, you're not far from the Coast to Coast path. For cycling, Hamsterley Forest is good and is about half an hour away. Places like High Force and Brimham Rocks are within a 30-minute drive.
