The Bungalow
The Bungalow is on our farm in West Pennard, Somerset. It's part of a group of four converted farm buildings, so there are other holiday homes nearby. This one is detached. You've got your own enclosed garden and patio with a hot tub. Because the buildings are close together, the gardens aren't completely private, but they are yours to use. The hot tub is cleaned between each stay, so it might not be fully up to temperature on your first night.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Everything is on one level, and the doorways are wide, so it's good for wheelchair access or if you don't want stairs.
Inside, it's one big open space for the kitchen, dining, and lounge. There's a large dining table that converts into a pool table. The TV is enormous, an 85-inch screen. The best feature is the view from the living area: you look straight out at Glastonbury Tor, nothing in the way.
On site, there's a tennis court that all the properties share. You can book time on it.
The village pub is about half a mile away. The nearest shop is two and a half miles, so you'll likely want to drive for a main shop.
Location wise, Glastonbury town is about ten minutes away by car. Wells is about a twenty-minute drive, and it's worth a visit for the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. The city of Bath is under an hour's drive if you want architecture and shopping. The coast is about forty minutes away.
It's a 4 Star property, which means it's well-equipped. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside.
You can bring one dog. If you're coming with a bigger group, the other properties here can be booked together.
