Sabine Hay Barn

A beautifully converted barn set within the stunning Peak District. Perched in a perfect location, it has amazing, uninterrupted panoramic views as far as the eye can see. This detached barn has been designed as a cosy bolthole for a couple and has all the mod cons you could ask for, including a Smart TV in both the open living space and the bedroom. The barn enjoys a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a master bedroom, a shower room with a double walk-in rain shower, and comfy sofas to kick back and relax in. Outside, you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee at the table on the patio or enjoy the sunshine lazing on the sun beds - the perfect setting for watching a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Your very own bubbling hot tub is on the patio waiting for you as well so you can enjoy the simplicity of a starlit night.
Sabine Hay Barn is situated overlooking the beautiful Derwent Valley and the farm is a haven for wildlife, including badgers and rare black fallow deer; it even boasts sixty species of birds such as nuthatch, dippers and peregrine falcons. Located 7 miles south of the historic market town of Bakewell and 3 miles west of Matlock, you are ideally situated to access the diverse array of local attractions. The Limestone Way passes close by the farm, which is also the junction to no less than four major footpaths throughout the area. The mystical Stanton Moor, with its ancient Nine Ladies Stone Circle, is within walking distance, and a little further the River Lathkill has wonderful walks. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are close by, as is Matlock Bath which boasts children’s attractions and a cable car ride to the Heights of Abraham. The pretty village of Birchover has two fabulous pubs serving food, so you will never be short of places to visit or eat!
