Bodlyn
Bodlyn is a cottage in Tal y bont, North Wales. It’s a five star place, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One double bedroom is on the ground floor with a shower room next to it. Upstairs there’s a king-size room and a twin room, and they both have their own ensuite bathrooms. The stairs inside are quite steep.
The main living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting room all in one space. Doors lead out to an enclosed garden. There’s a hot tub there which is for your use. We allow one well-behaved dog.
You can walk to the beach from the cottage. It’s sandy. The pub in the village is also a short walk away and does meals.
By car, Barmouth is about ten minutes south. It’s a proper seaside town with a beach and shops. Harlech, to the north, takes about fifteen minutes. The castle is a Harlech Castle. The golf course is there too.
For a day out, Porthmadog is roughly twenty minutes away. The steam railways start from there. Snowdonia National Park is all around you. The main visitor centres for the park are within a half hour drive.
Things here include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are provided. A cot and highchair are available if you need them.
