Erddyn is in Tal-y-bont, near Barmouth. It's a proper cottage, sleeps six.
It's got three bathrooms, one on each floor basically. That's handy with six people. One double bedroom is on the ground floor, right next to a shower room. Upstairs there's a kingsize room and a twin, both with their own shower en-suite.
The main room downstairs is all open-plan: kitchen, dining table, sofa area. Patio doors go out to the garden. The garden's enclosed, which is good for dogs and kids. There's a hot tub out there too.
It's a five star place. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
You can walk to the beach from here. It's sandy. The local pub is also walkable. Barmouth is a short drive for shops, fish and chips, the promenade. Harlech with its castle is about fifteen minutes south. The National Trust and the Snowdonia National Park sites are good for planning walks.
If you like railways, Porthmadog is under half an hour away for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland lines. The Mawddach Trail is a nice flat walk along the estuary. For tougher walking, the Rhinogs are right there.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
There's another cottage next door. If you're a bigger group, you can book both together.
