Stoney End Cottage

Stoney End Cottage is on the edge of a tiny hamlet called Worton, near Askrigg. It's a stone place, so the walls are thick. The views from the patio are great, straight out across the fields towards Swaledale.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on the ground floor, which is useful. The wet room shower is good.

The place has got a multi-fuel stove for the evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can book the hot tub separately if you want it. It fits four people.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.

The nearest pub is in Askrigg, about a mile and a half away. It's a proper Dales pub. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Hawes, which is about four miles. Hawes has the Wensleydale Creamery if you like cheese.

You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For walking, the Pennine Way isn't far. Aysgarth Falls is about a fifteen minute drive. If you fancy a day out, Richmond or the Lake District are both within an hour.
