Beachy B
When you arrive at Beachy B you will be thrilled with the gorgeous property that welcomes you. It offers two very good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, which will suit a family or two couples sharing. There is a great kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm and being open plan with the living room means that the cook is never left out of the fun. The bright living room looks onto a smashing garden which is completely private and not overlooked. There you can relax with a glass of wine or a coffee on the lovely garden furniture; a charcoal barbeque is also available.
Sandown is a very popular holiday resort on the southeast side of the Isle of Wight. The beach is only a 10-minute walk from Beachy B and has golden sands and lovely water for swimming or to enjoy water sports. The seafront offers lots of things to see and do, from amusement arcades on the pier, Sandown Zoo home to rescued lions and tigers, to crazy golf and sky nets. The list is endless at this resort. A town centre is located just behind the beach, ideal for picking up groceries on your way home at the end of the day.
From the esplanade you can walk along the revetment which will take you to the neighbouring resort of Shanklin, home to the famous Old Village and Shanklin Chine. Sandown and Shanklin have great transport links which means you don’t have to bring a car if you don’t want to and you can sightsee from an open top bus in the summer months. The Isle of Wight has lots attractions including Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest amusement park and The Needles, the island’s iconic landmark attraction. Explore Osborne House, home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert or explore different modes of boats to travel to the island, all of which are fun, from car ferries to hovercraft.
