Set in a central location, amongst the array of cafés, shops, and restaurants, this beautifully presented apartment is ready for you to create memories to last a lifetime.
Inside you have the living area, with a sofa and armchairs as well as an electric stove beneath the chandelier. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area, with a large central dining table with upholstered benches making this a wonderful, comfortable social space where you can wind down in an evening, enjoying home cooked meals as well as a bottle or two of something special. You also have the spacious bathroom on this floor with the choice of both a bath or a shower. The bedrooms are both on the top floor beneath beamed vaulted ceilings, they are both characterful and beautifully dressed, with an en suite toilet each. The windows up here give you fabulous views over the town at different angles, so that you can enjoy many of the landmarks.
This is a unique property in the ideal position to enjoy all of the delights Whitby has to offer. Whitby is popular all year round, drawing guests from all over the world with its picturesque views and its fascinating history. The coastline is spectacular and forms part of the Cleveland Way walk that passes through Whitby and down to its final destination in Filey, all 109 miles, great for those who love the great outdoors and rambling. Just along the coastline there is a choice of stunning beaches, some of them award-winning, including Sandsend which you can walk to from Whitby’s main beach at low tide.
One of the draws to Whitby is its fascinating history, being the home of Dracula who arrived by ship on Tate Hill beach according to Bram Stoker’s novel. Captain Cook sailed from Whitby on his voyages to discover Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, you can visit the museum or the replica of his ship, the Endeavour, in the harbour which houses an exhibition and restaurant. Over the centuries Whitby has been a flourishing fishing town, you can sample some of the locally caught fish from many of the independent fishmongers. If you are looking for the perfect location to create memories with a special someone, then look no further, you are sure to be delighted. Beach ¼ mile. Shop and café 50 yards, pub 100 yards.
