Half Pint Cottage is on the main street in Uplyme. It's a small, two-up two-down terraced cottage. It sleeps four, in a king-size room and a double room. There's one bathroom with a bath and shower over it.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and recently updated. Downstairs is open plan, with the kitchen at the back. It has a wood burner, which heats the whole floor well when lit.
The cottage is right next to our pub, the Talbot Arms. You can pop in for a meal or a drink. It's handy. There's a village shop about a minute's walk away for basics.
Lyme Regis is the main draw. It's about two miles down the hill. You can drive in a few minutes, or there's a footpath if you fancy the walk. The beach is sandy and shingle, and The Cobb is there to walk along. The town has the usual seafront cafes and fossil shops.
Along the coast, Charmouth is good for fossil hunting. West Bay is about 20 minutes by car. Inland, you've got places like Lyme Park and the Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth. Exeter is roughly half an hour away for bigger shops or the cathedral.
For facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the gravel area at the front. No pets, sorry.
