Vallum Villa

Vallum Villa is in Henshaw, right next to Hadrian's Wall at Steel Rigg. It's one of a small group of modern holiday homes built on a farm.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything was refurbished in 2022 and 2023.

The kitchen and living area is all open plan. There's a log burning stove in the middle that heats the room. Big doors open out from the dining area onto the deck. Outside, there's a lawned garden and a separate garden room with an eight-person hot tub.

You're a five minute walk from the Twice Brewed Inn. They do good food and have a large beer garden. The local pub in Henshaw is about 350 yards away.

The location is mainly for walkers and cyclists. You're on the Hadrian's Wall path. The Pennine Way is close by. You can see Sycamore Gap and Vindolanda Roman Fort from here. Hexham and Corbridge are nice market towns about a 20 minute drive away.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, towels and bedding are provided, there's parking, and an electric vehicle charger. WiFi and TV are included. No pets.
