Grindon Cartshed is a converted barn in Settlingstones. It's up in the hills, so the views out the back over the Northumberland National Park are very long. You just look at fields and sky.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
Downstairs, the main room has big windows, so it’s light. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Outside, there's a patio and garden area. You can park right next to it.
It's a proper rural spot. You'll need a car. The nearest pub is a drive, but there are good ones in nearby villages like Bellingham.
You’re right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park for walking. Hadrian's Wall is about a 30 minute drive east. Kielder Water is about the same distance west. Hexham and its abbey are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, parking, woodburner. Pets are allowed, up to two. All bedding is included.
It can be booked with another house next door if you're a bigger group.
