Felbridge Cottage is up at Henshaw, on our farm. It's detached. It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating which, in my view, means it's comfortable, clean, and everything works.
The layout is simple. Open plan living room and kitchen downstairs. There's a woodburner, a TV, and a dishwasher. The stairs go up to the bedroom. It's got a double bed and the ceiling is beamed, which is nice.
Outside, you've got your own bit of garden. The farm is around you, with fields and woods. There's a stream and a pond a few minutes' walk away.
Location is the main thing here. You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Hadrian's Wall is just over a mile up the road. You can walk to it. The Housesteads Roman Fort is the closest bit to see properly. Vindolanda is a short drive too.
For supplies, the nearest shop is about five miles away in Bardon Mill. There's a pub closer, about a mile and a half, which does food.
Within half an hour you can get to Hexham, which is a proper market town. Kielder Water is about 35 minutes if you want to go that way.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. WiFi is here. There's parking right outside. We allow one well-behaved dog. We can provide a highchair and stairgate if you need them.
