Old Brewery Cottage is in Melkridge. It's a converted barn next to our house. You're looking out over the Tyne Valley.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a listed building, so the walls are thick and the windows are deep. You get the feeling.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two. There's parking right there.
It's about twelve miles to Hexham. It's a proper market town with an abbey and shops. Newcastle is maybe half an hour by car if you want a city day.
You're right on the edge of things for exploring. Hadrian's Wall is all around here. The Northumberland National Park is close. The coast, like places such as Bamburgh, is about an hour's drive. Kielder Water is maybe forty minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. We put in a stairgate and there's a cot and highchair if you need them. All the bedding and towels are included.
If you want to book a bigger group, we've also got the Old Brewery Coach House next door. You can book them together.
