Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is in Melkridge, Northumberland. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps two. It's a ground floor conversion that was part of a farm yard, so it's all on one level. The main room has big glass doors that look straight out over fields. The view is very open, just countryside.
It's a 3 Star property. It's clean and comfortable. The patio is private, and it's a good spot to sit outside.
You're about a mile from Hadrian's Wall here. The area is part of the Northumberland National Park. For walking, you're right in the middle of it. The local pub is in Melkridge, a short walk away.
Hexham is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper market town with shops and supermarkets. Housesteads Roman Fort is maybe fifteen minutes by car. If you head north, Kielder Water and Forest is within half an hour. For the coast, you're looking at a forty minute drive to somewhere like Druridge Bay.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take up to two dogs. There's a wild grass meadow area here that people use for walking their dogs.
