Angie's Beachside House is a converted boathouse in Point Clear. It's been here since the 1920s. It sleeps four.
The main living space and the two bedrooms are upstairs. That's so you get the best of the view. The windows are big and you look right out over the water. It's a good spot to watch the boats. The kitchen is a galley kitchen, it's compact but it has what you need.
Downstairs is where they used to keep the boats. It's below sea level, so the ceiling is low and it feels a bit like a cellar. There's a pool table and darts board down there, and a separate shower room. It's a useful space if the weather turns.
There's a patio area outside. The sunsets from there can be really good.
The beach is very close, less than a two minute walk. There's a local pub nearby as well.
If you're after activities, Curve Watersports is just down the coast. They have an inflatable aqua park, wakeboarding, that sort of thing. St Osyth's Priory is worth a visit if you like history. The classic seaside towns are Clacton and Walton-on-the-Naze, about a fifteen minute drive. They have piers, amusements, and the usual seafront stuff.
Facilities: Wifi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
