Meadowview Cottage Point Clear

Meadowview Cottage is in Point Clear near Clacton-on-Sea. It's a bungalow so everything's on the ground floor. It's fairly easy to get around inside.

It's for six people, but that's in two bedrooms plus the living room sofa bed. It has two bathrooms, both wet rooms with showers. It's clean and modern, which is what the four stars means.

You get a private patio area. The whole place is in three acres of shared grounds. It's quiet and there's a lot of wildlife about. There's a lake nearby where you can fish. Good for walking, and you can get down to the creek.

The local pub is a couple of miles away. The nearest shop is a ten minute walk.

It's about a fifteen minute drive to the sea at Brightlingsea or St Osyth Beach. Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze are within half an hour. Colchester is twenty minutes away. You've got the castle and the zoo there.

If you want to go further, all the old wool towns like Lavenham and Dedham are about forty five minutes' drive. Constable painted a lot of that area.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair, towels and bedding are included, and there's parking. WiFi and TV are there. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
