Sea Folly
Sea Folly is in Brightlingsea. It's a terraced house, about a minute's walk from the beach. The house has three bedrooms and sleeps five. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything works. The garden is a good size, fully enclosed, so it's fine for kids or dogs. You can bring up to two dogs. All bedding and towels are included.
You're right in the town. The local shop is literally next door, which is handy if you run out of milk. The pub is a few doors down. There are a few places to eat within a hundred yards, including three good fish and chip shops.
The beach is shingle and sand. It's very safe and shallow for a long way out, so it's good for children to paddle. The harbour is active, with boat trips in the summer. There's a boating lake nearby too.
If you want to go further, Clacton-on-Sea with its pier is about a twenty minute drive. Mersea Island is close, famous for its oysters. Colchester is about half an hour away. It's got a castle, the zoo, Roman ruins and shops. The train from Colchester gets you to London in under an hour.
The house has WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. There's parking for one car on the street directly outside.
