West Mersea Park is a static caravan on West Mersea Holiday Park. It's about five minutes walk from the beach. The beach there has those coloured huts you see in pictures.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is decent. It's clean and modern inside. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
You get a wrap-around deck with some chairs. It's a good spot to sit out. Inside is open plan. The kitchen is fine.
The site has a small shop and a bar that does food. The beach café is right there. Mersea is known for oysters, if that's your thing. The local pubs serve seafood.
For walking, you've got the beach and the sea wall. Cudmore Grove Country Park at East Mersea is a short drive. It's good for a quieter walk.
If you want to go further, Colchester is about twenty minutes. It's got the castle and the Roman stuff. Maldon is similar, with the Thames barges. Southend is maybe forty-five minutes.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
