Sunnyside
Sunnyside is a Victorian cottage on Mersea Island, in West Mersea. It's detached, set back a bit from the road. You can walk to the beach in about five minutes, maybe less.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, two doubles and a single. There's a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's a bright house, lots of windows.
The kitchen is big and has those bifold doors that open right up onto the garden. The garden is paved, with a patio and some lawn, and it's fenced. Good for kids or dogs.
There are shops and pubs a short walk away. The famous seafood places are there too. The beach huts are along the front. Cudmore Grove Country Park is over at East Mersea, it's a nice spot for a walk.
If you want to go off the island, Colchester is about twenty minutes by car. Maldon is similar. It's easy to get to from the mainland, just over the causeway.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
