Point Clear View
Point Clear View is on the beach at Point Clear in Essex. It's a detached house, three floors tall. The name is accurate, you do get a clear view. It looks straight out over the water.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It feels modern inside after the renovation.
There's an open plan living area on the middle floor with big windows. It leads out onto a deck. The sea is right there, just past the garden. Two bedrooms upstairs have doors onto an upper balcony. The stairs are fine, no major quirks.
On the ground floor there's a games room. The garden is yours to use. Parking is on site.
You can walk along the beach from the house. For a bigger beach day, Clacton-on-Sea is a short drive away. They've got the pier and all the usual seaside things. The historic village of St Osyth is a couple of miles inland.
In the summer season, there's a shop, a takeaway, a coffee place and a pub within walking distance. Out of season, you'll need to drive.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
