Point Clear View
Point Clear View is in Point Clear, Essex. It's a detached house right on the beach. The name is accurate, you get a clear view.
It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been recently done up, so things are in good shape. It's on three floors, with the main living area on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have doors out to an upper balcony.
Downstairs there's a games room. The main living room, kitchen and dining area are all open plan. That room has doors out to a decked area. The garden is small, but you're basically on the shingle beach anyway.
The house accepts up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site.
You can walk along the beach or the sea wall for miles. It's very flat. For a bigger beach with more going on, Clacton-on-Sea is about three miles away. The historic village of St Osyth is two miles inland.
There's a little parade about a five minute walk away. In the summer there's usually a coffee shop, a small store, and a takeaway open there. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Clacton.
The Essex coast is good for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. You can fish from the beach. The Essex Wildlife Trust has several nature reserves nearby if you're interested in birdwatching.
