1 Lamb Barn

This is 1 Lamb Barn. It’s a converted barn on one level, so there are no stairs. That makes it good for couples and it works for a small family too. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which is down to it being quite smart and well-finished.

There’s one main bedroom with a double bed. Off that room there’s a separate space with bunk beds. It’s fine for kids, but adults might find it a bit tight. One bathroom, which has both a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower.

Outside, there’s a private enclosed lawn garden at the back. It’s got a patio area and a BBQ. Parking is on site, and there’s an electric vehicle charger.

The barn is in St Osyth. There’s a local pub. The village has its own sandy beach, which is about five miles from the property itself.

Clacton-on-Sea is close by. It’s a proper seaside town with a pier, promenade, arcades and a golf course. For shopping, there’s Clacton Shopping Village with discount brands.

Within about half an hour’s drive, you’ve got Brightlingsea, Mersea Island, Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze. Colchester is nearby too, with the castle, zoo and a lot of history. For a wider day out, Dedham Vale and places like Lavenham are within reach.

Facilities are pretty comprehensive. Everything is included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There’s a TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
