Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage is near Point Clear in Essex. It's one of a few cottages that used to be farm buildings around a central courtyard. It's on the ground floor.

It sleeps four. It's one bedroom with a big bed, and a sofa bed in the living area. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room. It has grab rails and lower worktops, so it's good if you don't get around so easily. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The cottage looks out over the fields here. There's about three acres of grounds, so there's space. You get your own patio area. The area's good for birdwatching and walking. The creek isn't far for a stroll.

The nearest shop is about ten minutes walk. The local pub is a couple of miles away, so you'd drive. For a proper day out, Brightlingsea and Mersea Island are close. They've got sailing and good places to eat. Colchester is about twenty minutes by car, for the castle, the zoo, and shops. If you want coast, Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze are within half an hour.

Inside, there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
