Willowtree Cottage is part of a group of old farm buildings that have been converted. They're arranged around a courtyard, but you get your own space. It's set in three acres of grounds. There's a bit of wildlife about and the views are over fields.
It's a bungalow, so everything is on the ground floor. It sleeps six, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating and is set up for wheelchair access, with wide doors, grab rails and a seat in the shower. The decor is simple and clean.
You've got a private patio area, and parking right there. There's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, and bedding and towels are included. The WiFi works. You can bring one dog.
The local shop is about a ten minute walk. The nearest pub is two miles away, in Point Clear. It's a coastal spot. You can walk down to the creek from here. There's a lake nearby if you're into fishing or boating.
Brightlingsea is a ten minute drive. Mersea Island is about twenty minutes. Colchester is roughly half an hour. It's got the castle, the zoo, and all the shops you'd need. For a longer day out, places like Dedham, Lavenham, or the Suffolk coast around Aldeburgh are all within a 30 to 40 minute drive.
