Dairy Cottage is in Point Clear, which is in Essex near the coast. It's a detached bungalow on the ground floor, so no stairs at all. It's in a little courtyard with a few other cottages, but it's completely private. You've got your own patio and garden area that looks out over the fields. We've got about three acres of land here, so it's quiet.
It sleeps four, but there's just the one bedroom. That bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite wet room. There's a sofa bed in the living area for the extra two people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, and it's been set up to be accessible. There are grab rails in the wet room and a portable shower seat if you need it. The doors are wide and everything is on the flat.
It's a rural spot. There's a shop about a ten minute walk away. The nearest proper pub is in St Osyth, which is about two miles down the road. The creek is a nice walk from here. You can walk down to the water and see the boats.
Brightlingsea is the closest little town, about ten minutes by car. It's got a harbour and a beach. Mersea Island is famous for its seafood, especially oysters. Colchester is a half hour drive. It's an old town, they've got a castle and a decent zoo. If you want a seaside day, Clacton, Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze are all within easy reach.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
