Secretseaview is in a row of houses on West Mersea. It's called that because the main living area is upstairs, so you get a view over the rooftops to the sea from the balcony. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-fitted.
The layout is the main thing. You come in on the ground floor to the hallway and bedrooms. Then you go upstairs to the kitchen and living room. The balcony is off there. It's a good spot for a coffee. The stairs are fine, just a normal flight.
You're about two minutes' walk from the beach. There's a park and a couple of beach cafes nearby, and a bar that does food. A seasonal shop opens in the summer. For a proper supermarket or a butcher, you need to drive into the main part of West Mersea, which is just over a mile.
Mersea is known for the oysters. You can get them at a few places on the island. It's good for sailing and walking. Cudmore Grove Country Park over in East Mersea is nice for a stroll. If you want to go further, Colchester is about twenty minutes by car. Maldon, with the Thames sailing barges, is about the same.
In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, Wi-Fi, TV. There's parking for one car on the driveway. No pets, sorry.
