Secretseaview is in West Mersea. It's called that because the main living area is upstairs, so you get a view of the sea from the first-floor balcony. It's a reverse-level design.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. Everything's there that you'd need.
You're about a two-minute walk from the beach. There's a row of beach huts and you can see the water. There are two beach cafes, a park, and a bar that does food all within five minutes' walk. For a proper shop, you'd drive into the main part of West Mersea, which is just over a mile away.
The island is known for oysters. You can get them at a few places. The sailing club is active. It's a good spot for walking or cycling around the coast.
If you want a bigger park, Cudmore Grove Country Park in East Mersea is nice. It's got open fields and paths right down to the water. Colchester is about twenty minutes by car if you want history or shops. Maldon is the same distance the other way, it's an old market town on the water.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels are included. There's a shower. The garden is yours to use. No pets.
