It's called Robin. It’s a one-bedroom barn conversion, set around a shared courtyard with a few other similar properties. You're in Elmstead Market, which is a village just outside of Alresford in Essex. It's quiet.
The barn sleeps two. One bedroom with a super king bed, but they can split it into two singles if you ask. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's a comfortable standard. Everything you need is there.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. Kitchen, dining area, and a sofa to sit on. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep, just so you know. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a shared garden and a swimming pool for the use of all the properties on site. You can park right there. There's a washing machine. You can bring one dog.
Elmstead Market has a shop and a pub. Colchester is about fifteen minutes by car. The zoo is there, and the castle is worth a visit if you're interested in that sort of thing. For a nice day out, the Beth Chatto Gardens are close by and very good.
The coast is about twenty minutes away. Brightlingsea is the closest. For a proper seaside town, you've got Frinton or Clacton a bit further along. Mersea Island is good for seafood and a different pace.
If you want to go walking, Dedham Vale is nearby. The Visit Colchester site has ideas for days out. That's about the shape of it.
