The Bull Pen
The Bull Pen is out on the Foxash Estate near Lawford. It's a single storey barn conversion, so all on one level. It's detached and in a corner of our garden, so it's quiet. The patio faces south and gets sun most of the day, if the weather's good.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which just means it's been finished to a high standard. Everything's new and works properly. It's open plan inside with a wood burner. There's underfloor heating too.
You've got your own parking space right next to it. The garden area is yours to use. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
The local shop is about a mile and a quarter away. The nearest pub and restaurant are in Dedham, about three miles.
Dedham is nice. It's in Constable Country on the River Stour. You can walk there, hire a boat, or just have a look around. The Dedham Vale is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Colchester is about fifteen minutes north by car. It's an old town with a castle and museums. If you want the coast, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze are a half hour drive east.
