The Orchard Langham

The Orchard is in Langham, Essex. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people, converted from an old bakery. It's next to our house, but you have your own space and it's very private.

The place is 5 Star rated, which means it's well kept and comfortable. You get the whole ground floor. There's one bedroom and a shower room. The main room is open plan.

Outside, you've got your own decking area. The whole property sits in about two and a half acres of gardens and orchard. There are beehives at the far end, so if you're allergic, that's something to be aware of.

It's a rural spot. You'll see plenty of wildlife. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. A restaurant is two miles.

For things to do, you're well placed. You're about halfway between Colchester and Ipswich, right next to the A12. Constable Country, with Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale, is only three miles away. Colchester has the castle, zoo, and all the shops. The coast at Clacton is about a 25 minute drive. Further up the Suffolk coast, places like Aldeburgh are within half an hour.

Facilities include parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's an enclosed patio area with a barbecue.
