Blackwell Barn
Blackwell Barn is a converted barn on the edge of Raydon village. It's detached, so it's just you. The main thing is the view from the bedroom: it's all fields. You can see alpacas in the next field. They're quiet.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently so everything works and it's well insulated. The timber frame is original, which is nice.
There's an open plan kitchen and living area downstairs. Upstairs is the bedroom and the en-suite. The windows are big so it's light. There's a separate utility room with the washing machine.
Outside is a patio with a table and a BBQ. You can park right next to it.
The local pub is about a mile's walk. Hadleigh is two miles away for a bigger shop. It's near the A12 so getting to places is straightforward.
It's good for walking. You're on the edge of the Dedham Vale area. There are woods and old railway lines to walk. Flatford is about a 20 minute drive. The coast at places like Aldeburgh is about 40 minutes.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. It's on a working farm.
