Fallow Cottage is in Hadleigh town. It's part of a small group we built in 2021, so everything works properly and is well-insulated. It has its own front door and a private courtyard garden with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got the 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has everything you'd need. There's a wood burner in the front room. I've stacked some logs for you to get started. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
You're right opposite the cricket green, which is one of the oldest in the country. The town high street is a two-minute walk. There are a few good pubs, a butcher, a baker, and some independent shops. The closest shop is about 120 yards away.
You can walk from the door. There's a nice path along the River Brett. Or you can walk the old railway line towards Raydon.
If you drive, Lavenham is about 20 minutes away. It's that very old wool town you see on postcards. Flatford Mill is in that direction too, which is the Constable painting spot. The Suffolk coast, like Aldeburgh or Southwold, is under an hour's drive.
We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's parking right outside the cottage.
