The Mount is an old farmworker's cottage on Whitestreet Green. It's quiet, just fields and hedges out the back. It's semi-detached, the other place is lived in. You've got your own garden. It's small but sunny.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs with a double bed, one bathroom downstairs with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kitted out.
The property is bright and quite spacious. It's furnished nicely, nothing too outdated.
For walks, you can go straight from the door. There are footpaths across the fields. The shop and pub are a couple of miles down the road in Monks Eleigh, so you'll need a car.
There are some very pretty villages nearby. Lavenham is close, with the timber-framed buildings. Kersey is lovely too. Sudbury and Hadleigh are proper market towns.
For a day out, Bury St Edmunds is about a 25 minute drive. They've got the abbey ruins and a good market. Newmarket for the races is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Cambridge is just under an hour's drive. Colchester, for the castle or the zoo, is about 45 minutes.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a TV, bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets sorry.
For planning walks or days out, the National Trust in Suffolk has good information on places like Ickworth and Melford Hall.
