Leveret Lodge is an annexe in Bures, on the Suffolk and Essex border. It's on the first floor, above our garage at the side of the main house. It's detached from our house so it's private.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been checked and it's well equipped. It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's modern and clean.
You get a shared patio and garden, and you can walk into our private bluebell woods. It's quite peaceful.
Bures is small. There's a village shop, a couple of pubs, and a train station. The train gets you to London in just over an hour if you need to.
The view looks out over the Stour Valley. It's part of the Dedham Vale, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For walks, the Dedham Vale and Stour Valley site has maps. The Arger Fen nature reserve is close by.
Colchester is about a 15-minute drive. It's got a castle, a zoo, and the usual shops. Sudbury and Long Melford are nearby too, within 20 minutes or so.
Facilities: there's parking, wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and we include bedding and towels. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets.
