Granary Cottage
Granary Cottage is in Tattingstone, near Brantham. It’s a converted granary, so it’s spacious inside. It's on a farm with about thirty acres of land around it, and there's a fishing lake in the grounds.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That’s useful. It’s a Four Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-finished.
Downstairs is mostly one big open room. There’s a woodburner, a good sized kitchen with a big table, and doors out to a south-facing garden. It gets the sun. There's also a smaller snug room off to the side, and a shower room.
The stairs are fine. Upstairs, the bedrooms are light and a good size. The main bedroom has an en-suite.
The village is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Brantham. For a bigger shop, Ipswich is ten minutes by car.
The coast is about fifteen miles. Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale are close, that’s Constable Country. Southwold, Aldeburgh, and the Suffolk Heritage Coast are within a thirty minute drive.
For facilities, it has the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. You can bring two dogs. There’s parking right outside.
