Old Alton Hall Farmhouse

Old Alton Hall Farmhouse is in Holbrook, Suffolk. It's a detached place, a former farmhouse. It sleeps up to ten people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a solid, comfortable sort of house, not a show home. Everything's included, like bedding and towels.

You're out in the countryside here. The back garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. We allow two. There are a couple of dog beds and an outdoor kennel which has a covered bit, so you can leave them outside if you need to.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a woodburning stove in the living room for cooler evenings. Parking is on site.

Alton Water is just a short walk away. It's a big reservoir, good for walking or cycling around. If you're into water sports, the Alton Water Visitor Centre is the place to go. They've also got a cafe and a play area.

There's a shop, pub, and restaurant about a mile and a half away. For a proper town, Ipswich is about twenty minutes by car. The Suffolk coast, like places near Felixstowe, is about half an hour's drive if you fancy a beach day.

It's a rural spot. If you want to explore the area, the National Trust in Suffolk has places like Sutton Hoo and Ickworth House nearby.
