The Old Bakery is the cottage next to our house. We live in Langham, which is sort of halfway between Colchester and Ipswich. You're in Essex here, but Suffolk's just over the field.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. It used to be the village bakery, so you'll see the old beams. We've kept it simple.
You've got your own decking area out the front. The garden is big, about two and a half acres. It's mostly wildflowers and an orchard. We keep bees at the bottom, so there are bees about. You can walk around it.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a ten minute walk. They're fine. More options in Colchester if you want a meal out.
For things to do, you're well placed. The A12 is close if you want to drive somewhere. Constable Country and Flatford Mill are about ten minutes away. Colchester has the castle and the zoo. The coast at places like Aldeburgh or Clacton is within half an hour's drive.
It has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. There's a barbecue on the deck. No pets, I'm afraid.
