The Flaggs is a cottage in Giggleswick. It's on a quiet lane just up from the River Ribble. You're looking out at fields and hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is old, so there's a lot of character. Exposed stone and beams, but that means the ceilings are low in some rooms and high in others. You'll need to mind your head in a couple of spots. The stairs inside are very steep. We've put an extra handrail in.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. Outside, there's a space at the back. It's shared access, so the neighbours might need to come past to get to their sheds.
You can bring one dog.
There are two pubs less than a minute's walk away. Settle town centre is about a ten minute walk. It's got a proper market on Tuesdays, plus shops and cafes.
You're right in the Yorkshire Dales. For walks, you can start from the door. The Three Peaks are a short drive away. If you want to explore further, the Yorkshire Dales National Park website has good information. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are about a 15 minute drive. Ingleton Falls is maybe 20 minutes.
For a day out, you could drive to Skipton, the gateway to the Dales, in under half an hour. The National Trust looks after places like Malham Tarn and Brimham Rocks, which are within that range.
What's here: wood burner, dishwasher, TV, WiFi, a garden area, and all bedding and towels are included. The electricity is covered.
