Poppy's Barn
Poppy’s Barn is a timeless haven, situated within the gorgeous Cornish countryside and providing the ideal place in which to relax and recharge. Grade II listed and standing detached, it has been forged from granite, blending with original beams and features. You will discover spacious open plan living with farmhouse-style table and chairs, a well equipped kitchen area with wooden floor, and a bright and airy living area with inviting soft furnishings where you can catch up on your favourite TV programme or plan tomorrow’s adventure! There is also a downstairs utility room and cloakroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double bed with ample storage, one twin again with ample storage and a one single downstairs. All are superbly presented. Outside is a charcoal barbeque and excellent seating for six guests, where you can enjoy morning coffee, al fresco dining or perhaps your favourite beverage as the sun sets on a busy day exploring this magical county. There is ample and secure parking.
Within easy reach of the main A30, you are ideally situated to visit miles of golden beaches with clifftop walks, coves and inlets, spectacular moorland or pretty villages and ancient towns. Thriving Padstow, with its quaint harbour, narrow streets, art galleries and award-winning restaurants should not be missed, and from here you can hire a bicycle and follow the mainly flat Camel Trail as it winds its way through woodland, river and coastal scenery 18 miles to the town of Bodmin and atmospheric moor of the same name. Here you can enjoy a nostalgic steam engine trip on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway or visit to the chilling Bodmin Jail Experience. The wonderous Eden Project, a world housing a tropical rainforest and much more beneath huge biomes, or magical Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short distance away, whilst to the south, picturesque Looe and pretty Polperro, with its historic links to smuggling and wrecking, await discovery. There are several superb pubs nearby, along with a general store and post office. Golf, horse riding and fishing facilities a short drive away. Beach 13 miles.
