Beachcroft is a delightful, detached cottage on the well-presented South Shore Park, just yards from the sandy beaches of Bridlington on the stunning Yorkshire coastline. Refurbished throughout this pretty cottage is ideal for a couple or small family to enjoy a traditional seaside break. Step inside to a cosy living room with two deep filled sofas that surround an electric wood burner; ideal for taking away the chill during the cooler winter months. Snuggle up on the sofas and enjoy a Netflix film on the large Smart TV. The kitchen sits to the back of the property and offers a selection of modern appliances including an induction hob and electric oven. To one side is a breakfast bar where you can enjoy a full English breakfast before heading out for the day or a delicious evening meal. There are plenty of cupboards for your holiday essentials as well as a good amount of work top space where you can prepare a picnic to enjoy on the beach. Beachcroft offers two comfortable bedrooms, a double and a bunk room with a double to the bottom and a single to the top. Both rooms are individually styled, and the bunk room also offers a large TV. The accommodation is completed by a house shower room. To the front of Beachcroft is an enclosed patio area with additional seating, here you can sit and enjoy an early morning coffee of enjoy a spot of people watching. We do have full access to south cliff amenities next door, which includes makis clubhouse, shop, fish shop and launderette. There is also a park and ride facility on-site.
Just a short walk from the front door will bring you to South Shore Beach, which locals claim to be one of the best in the UK, and from here a 30-minute walk will find you in the bustling seaside town of Bridlington. If you don’t fancy the walk why not take the land train which runs along the promenade. This well-kept holiday village offers many amenities including tennis courts and a children’s play area. The town of Bridlington is just along the coast and offers a plethora of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and traditional amusement arcades and the wide promenade provides a lovely walk along the sea front. A little further along the coastline is the pretty village of Flamborough. Surrounded by towering cliffs which are home to Britain’s only mainland colony of Gannets. Flamborough also offers some great rock pooling opportunities at low tide. Enjoy the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds or stunning beauty of the North York Moors National Park, both of which offer miles of walking and cycling routes. With so much to do Beachcroft makes the ideal holiday home at any time of year.
