This charming village of Long Preston, rests on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the market towns of Settle and Skipton. Based at the gateway of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and less than an hours drive to the well known town of Windermere, where you are sure to have fun and create ever lasting memories!
This delightful well-equipped cottage is an idea base for any holiday maker to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the stunning countryside. Within walking distance are two pubs serving food and a village shop/post office. The cottage is surrounded by shops, tea rooms and restaurants that are all within a short drive. There are regular street markets in Skipton along with woodland walks, famous forests, a golf course, castle, swimming pool and pet farms to explore.
Entering the property through the gate, admiring the Wisteria and beautiful surroundings as you walk up the pathway. A cosy living room and kitchen/dining room awaits you benefitting from a sofa and wood burner, perfect to get cosy on those cold winter nights. The kitchen area has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal and serve at the dining table while still benefitting from the warmth of the wood burner or enjoy a takeaway if you prefer. Walk through to an additional living room which is perfect for a cosy night in or to unwind in front of the smart TV from your eventful day exploring!
