Windmore End Farm

This large farmhouse is set on the Southern edge of the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty positioned high up with spectacular views over the Eden Valley. Perfectly located for a touring, walking or cycling holiday in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, North Pennines and upper Teesdale close to some famous walk including High Cup Nick and High force Waterfall. With its mixture of upland habitats, the North Pennines is home to an amazing variety of wildlife and rare plants.

Railway stations can be found nearby at Kirkby Stephen and Appleby both just 7 miles away and on the famous, scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line. The village of Brough is 3 miles away, with a ruined Norman castle, and local shop and pubs within easy access of the A66.

The Farmhouse itself has 4 large bedrooms on the 1st floor with family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a large sitting room, with traditional beams and a log burning stove, a dining room and farmhouse style kitchen with large range oven. The is also a separate utility room with shower cubicle and separate toilet.

There is a good-sized garden to the front that takes advantage of the spectacular views across the Eden valley to Ravenstonedale, Howgill fell and the Yorkshire Dales beyond. The property also benefits from access to a large adjoining barn for the storage of bikes, kayaks and other outdoor equipment.
