The Hideaway is in Ticknall. It's one of three converted barns in a terrace. They share a driveway but each has its own private, enclosed garden.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor.
The main thing is the big bi-folding doors at the front. They open right up and the view is just fields. It's very quiet. Inside, it's all open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate freestanding bath. There's a private hot tub in the garden.
The village shop and a couple of pubs are about a mile away. Melbourne, a couple of miles further, has more pubs and some good independent shops.
For days out, Calke Abbey is very close. You can walk there through the parkland. The National Forest is on the doorstep for cycling and walking. The Peak District is about half an hour's drive. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are both within that range.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
