Lavender Lodge is a detached lodge in Willington, Derbyshire. It's on a corner plot with trees, so it's private. The sun gets to it most of the day.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-equipped. The path from the parking to the door is quite long, but it's flat.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has Smeg appliances, which are colourful. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. We leave you some basics to get started: milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, and a few toiletries. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a veranda with a corner sofa and chairs. There are brick BBQs you can use. We've left a picnic basket and blankets in the lodge if you want to use them. You'll often see rabbits and squirrels about.
There's a kids' play area on the park and a local pub within walking distance. For bigger days out, you're in a good spot. The Peak District National Park is about a 20-minute drive. You can get to places like Matlock Bath or Carsington Water in under half an hour. Derby city centre is about 15 minutes away by car.
We don't allow pets. There's parking for two cars.
