Burdettes Cottage

This is Burdettes Cottage. It's in Foremark, near Repton. It's a small, brick cottage, one of three on the site. It used to be part of the Foremark Hall Estate.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. The living room has a wood burning stove, which is nice in the cooler months. There are some exposed timbers, so it's got that old cottage feel. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep, which is normal for a place this age.

It's very quiet here. You look out onto fields and can see Foremark Hall itself, which is a big Georgian house next door. There's a private garden with a patio and furniture.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot if you need one.

The local shop and pub are in Repton village, about a mile's walk or drive away. For walks, you're on the edge of the National Forest. The Foremark Reservoir and Carrington Woods are very close. For a day out, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold Reservoir are within twenty minutes' drive. You can get to the Peak District in under half an hour.
