This is Stenson Hill Farm, just outside Derby. It's a detached house on our land, down a track. It's quiet, but you're not miles from everything.
It sleeps twenty. Nine bedrooms, six bathrooms. That's why groups like it. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well-equipped and comfortable, but it's a big farmhouse, not a hotel.
There's a decent-sized garden with a patio and a built-in barbecue. The dining area is in a conservatory. There's a separate snooker room too. The views are over farmland.
You're about half a mile from a shop and a pub. The local town is Derby, about a fifteen minute drive. They've got theatres, restaurants, that sort of thing.
If you want days out, Calke Abbey is close by. For a walk, Dovedale and the Peak District are within half an hour. Alton Towers is about twenty-two miles away. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are also within a comfortable driving distance.
In terms of facilities: it's all on one level once you're in. There's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, TVs. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
