The Hill Coach House is in Barrow upon Trent. It's the old stables for the big house, but it's been done up. It's at the end of a long drive, so it's quiet. You've got three acres of garden to use.
It sleeps a lot of people, eighteen. Eight bedrooms and five bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It means it's comfortable and clean, not a show home. It's good for big groups.
The stairs are something you should know about. Some are steep. Some are spiral. They're just part of the old building.
You can walk to the local pub in about fifteen minutes. Swarkestone Bridge and the canal towpath are a nice walk too. For shopping or a proper day out, Derby is under fifteen minutes in the car.
Loads of places to visit are within half an hour. Calke Abbey is close. The Peak District starts at Ashbourne and Dovedale. Matlock Bath is up the road. Alton Towers is about twenty-two miles if you've got children who want to go.
What's here: a big garden with a patio and a barbecue. There's parking. Wifi. A washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We can put a cot up if you need one. You can bring one dog.
