Bay Tree Lodge

Bay Tree Lodge is a New England style lodge in Willington, in the Derbyshire Midlands. It's on the marina site, which is big for an inland one. The lodge is detached and you get the veranda and garden area to yourself.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, so an en-suite each. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well-finished and comfortable. The main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe that leads into the bathroom with a slipper bath. The second room has two singles and its own shower room. Everything is open plan downstairs.

The lodge is right on the marina. There's a boardwalk with a few shops and a two-storey bar and restaurant. You can sit out on the veranda and watch the boats. There's a sensory garden at the end of the boardwalk too.

Willington village is close. There's a local pub. Derby is about six miles east if you need a bigger town.

It's a good spot for the Peak District. You can drive to places like Bakewell and Ashbourne in under half an hour. There are plenty of walks from the door around the marina and along the canals.

For facilities: it's got parking, including an electric vehicle charger. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
